The Acute Pain Service (APS) follows hospitalized children for acute pain episodes related to an injury, an operation and/or pain from an illness. 

The Montreal Children’s Hospital Division of Adolescent Medicine/Gynecology is made up of a group of specialists who care for complex health issues in adolescents. A regional referral centre for the management of children with difficult problems related to the airway. 
The Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the MCH is the largest pediatric allergy practice in Canada.
 
Our department provides anesthesia services to patients in the OR, diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology, gastroenterology, cardiac catheterization, hematology-oncology and respirology, and provides anesthesia service to the Shriners Hospital for Children, Quebec. An Anesthesia Consultation Service is available for patients with certain conditions (e.g.

The Montreal Children’s Hospital’s Asthma Centre is dedicated to treating pediatric asthma in children aged 1 to 18 years old. We also treat many patients with recurrent viral wheezing, which is typical in toddlers and preschoolers. 

At The Montreal Children’s Hospital, children are referred to the Audiology Department to have their hearing tested.
