The MCH Division of Pediatric Urology consists of four experienced pediatric urology specialists who have highly specialized skills to take care of the entire spectrum of urological conditions which can affect children from the womb through birth and up to adulthood.
The team includes several specially trained nurses who have dedicated roles in caring for children with urologic issues, including peri-operative care, teaching and urodynamic testing. Our nursing staff is highly experienced in dealing with children suffering from bladder dysfunction and neurogenic bladder issues.
As part of a university teaching and research hospital, the team includes fellows, residents and medical students from all over the world who are at various stages of their training. Care is often provided through a multidisciplinary team format with collaboration from our colleagues in various programs and services at the hospital.
Integral functions within the division are contributed by the Operating Room booking personnel who schedule the surgeries and the Appointment and Referral Centre (ARC) personnel who schedule the outpatient clinics within the hospital.
Parents are an integral part of the team as we rely on your information, involvement and support. Should you wish to support the division’s efforts in patient care, research or teaching you can make a directed donation to our fund via the MCH Foundation.
