Services offered

Multidisciplinary clinical teams assess preschool and school-aged children for developmental concerns and learning difficulties for the purpose of diagnosis, referral to appropriate community resources, and in-hospital follow-up where appropriate. The program is an entry point for children who are presenting with developmental concerns to family physicians, pediatricians, parents, or pre-school teachers. Staff members also provide consultation to other programs in Developmental Behavioral Pediatric Services, such as the ADHD Program, the Autism Program, and the Feeding Program.
