The division plays a leadership role in a large multidisciplinary team including Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric Cardiovascular Anaesthesia, Pediatric Cardiovascular Perfusion, and Nursing among others. In addition, the division provides the services of pediatric heart and heart-lung transplantation, pediatric extracorporeal life support and pediatric mechanical ventricular assist devices in association with the MUHC thoracic transplant and mechanical VAD program.
