Services offered
Provides assessment, short-term intervention and consultation for children with a variety of diagnoses who have difficulties in the process of normal development. Occupational therapists promote and facilitate the development of skills and behaviours essential to daily living. Therapists collaborate with families and team members to minimize the impact of impairment and/or disability on functional independence.
The department follows both inpatients and outpatients and also participates in the Northern Health Care Program.
