The PRUDENT Clinical Research Unit provides physician researchers with a range of services to help facilitate their clinical research studies from writing protocols to data analysis.

The Unit works with various departments including Endocrinology and Metabolism, Nephrology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Cardiology and Ophthalmology. The Unit has developed an international reputation particularly in the research of Type 1 Diabetes.

The Unit’s primary concerns are the well-being of patients participating in the studies and the quality of clinical data collected. The strict application of Good Clinical Practices is also a key element of the Unit’s work.
