An interdisciplinary program for the evaluation and treatment of feeding and swallowing difficulties and poor growth. The interdisciplinary team consists of psychologists, occupational therapists, nutritionists, and a pediatric medical consultant. Clinical evaluation includes a comprehensive feeding history and related medical and developmental issues, assessment of mealtime interactions, and videofluoroscopic studies as needed.
Educational and nutritional guidance, as well as behavioural, sensorimotor and supportive therapy are part of the treatment approach.
