Pastoral services

Pastoral services

The Montreal Children's Hospital is committed to caring for the whole person, which includes attention to the spiritual dimensions of illness, suffering, and hospitalization. These may include such universal issues as hope, guilt, meaning, isolation and trust, or more specific religious needs. Our staff of clinically trained chaplains is available 24 hours a day to support patients, families and staff. We can provide for specific religious rituals at the family's request as well as a caring response to spiritual needs. Our services also include pastoral counseling and bereavement care and follow-up. Patients and families are welcome to contact us at any time.
