Security Codes

From time to time, you'll hear announcements over the hospital intercom notifying staff of a "code" and colour. This code system has been set up to alert staff of any emergency situation where specific skills may be required. There is no need to leave the hospital when these codes are announced. Usually within a short time, the announcement is made to "clear" the code, which signifies that the situation has returned to normal.
