Congratulations to Dr. Ilana Bank, director of the institute for pediatric simulation at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, on being awarded the 2020 Certificate of Merit from the Canadian Association for Medical Education (CAME).

Dr. Bank, who is a pediatric emergency physician and assistant professor in pediatrics at McGill University, has been recognized by CAME for her commitment to medical education in Canada. Dr. Bank is responsible for all simulation activities that occur across the Children’s. These multidisciplinary simulations take months to organize and bring together a multitude of health professionals from a variety of departments.

CAME will recognize Dr. Bank at the upcoming Annual General Meeting which is held in conjunction with the Canadian Conference on Medical Education (CCME) in Vancouver this April.
