Departments

Our mission is to take care of children up to age 18 who have any orthopedic injury or condition.

Our team treats patients with a variety of conditions including tumours, congenital neurosurgical problems, epilepsy, spasticity, craniofacial and any neurological problems which may or may not have a surgical component.

Sociocultural Consultation and Interpretation Services work throughout the Montreal Children’s Hospital. Language and cultural interpretations are conducted in all clinics, wards and Emergency both face to face and by telephone.  

The Montreal Children’s Hospital Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment Group (FDTG) includes specialists from different departments at the hospital who work as a team to provide prenatal diagnosis and treatment of fetal abnormalities.

The MCH Outreach program works at promoting the creation of a seamless, comprehensive network of integrated care by supporting current and new partnerships between care providers.

The Montreal Children's Hospital (MCH) of the McGill University Health Centre is a provincially designated Pediatric and Adolescent Trauma Centre, a Neurotrauma Centre of Expertise, and an important player in the provincial trauma network. The hospital is dedicated to its trauma mandate with a well-developed Emergency Trauma Response system, a commitment to making the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) accessible, and a variety of innovative inpatient and outpatient programs.
