COVID-19 Information

If your child is in need of emergency services, please do not hesitate to visit our Emergency Department (ED).

Due to limited space in our waiting rooms and to ensure social distancing, we ask that you limit yourself to one accompanying person per child registered to see a physician. Please avoid bringing siblings.

The Montreal Children’s Hospital established one of the first Child Life Departments in North America in 1936.

Provides EA/TEF patients and their families a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary expertise to optimize the care and prevent the morbidity associated with complications that may develop during follow-up.

Day surgery or ambulatory surgery means that your child will be safely discharged from the hospital and allowed to go home on the same day that they have a surgical or interventional procedure under general anesthesia. For some patients, day surgery is the point of entry to the hospital, even if the child is admitted to the hospital only after the procedure.

Provides care through a multidisciplinary team approach for children with disorders such as juvenile diabetes, slowed or abnormal growth, precocious or delayed puberty, thyroid gland dysfunction, diabetes insipidus, hypoglycemia, lipid and metabolic bone disturbances and tumours of endocrine glands.

A regional referral centre for the management of children with difficult problems related to hearing or other disorders of the ears.
