Access details for the virtual conference will be provided 24 to 48 hours prior to the event. Presentation handouts will be made available electronically at the same time.

The Specialty Day will use Zoom as its virtual platform.



  • Be able to summarize essentials regarding the presentation, diagnosis and management of mental health disorders encountered in children;

  • Be familiar with appropriate management of common pediatric problems seen every day in the office or more complex diseases with low frequency but potential morbidity;

  • Be aware of important advances in pediatric care;

  • Know when to refer to a pediatric specialist for ongoing investigations and management.

NOTE: Access to the Asynchronous On-demand Course (post-conference)

The Specialty Day and the Practical Problems in Pediatrics Conference will be available as an asynchronous on-demand course from February 15 to May 9, 2024. All presentations will be recorded with audio, video and screen-capture on the day of the live presentation and will be made available in a password-protected section of the event web app. Only registered participants will be able to access these recordings. Access information will be provided on February 15, 2024.
