The ABC Ball broke a record!

The 2012 edition of the ABC Ball for The Children’s was a success like no other. This year, under the direction of co-chairs Karyn Lassner and Kirsten Stern, this sold out event raised an unprecedented $1,050,000.
The theme of this year’s ball was “Dreams do come true” – and dreams definitely did come true on May 31, 2012 when 700 guests gathered at l’Arsenal in Griffintown to celebrate the end of The Best Care for Children Campaign for the new Children’s.
It was a magical evening, complete with fairy lights above the ballroom floor, a souk lounge reminiscent of One Thousands and One Nights, and charming little princesses to escort our glamorous guests down the red carpet when they arrived.
Thanks to our sponsors, patrons, donors and guests, the event brought in an outstanding $1,050,000 for The Children’s. The funds will go towards the construction of the new Hospital on the Glen site.
Bravo to the Best Care for Children Award-winning teams! The night was also an opportunity to recognize eight clinical teams at The Montreal Children’s Hospital who provided invaluable assistance in shaping the new Children’s.
