APPOINTMENT OF DR. JACQUETTA TRASLER

It is with great pleasure that we inform you that Dr. Jacquetta Trasler has been appointed Associate Director for Pediatric Research of the McGill University Health Center Research Institute.
Dr. Trasler is a Full Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics, Human Genetics and Pharmacology and Therapeutics at McGill University. One of McGill’s outstanding basic and clinical scientists working in the area of human reproductive health and disease, Dr. Trasler is recognized internationally for her expertise regarding the impact of male and female germ-line abnormalities on embryonic, fetal and childhood development.
Dr. Trasler is a Full Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics, Human Genetics and Pharmacology and Therapeutics at McGill University. A Chercheur national of the FRSQ and a past president of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society, she has stepped down as Director of the McGill MD/PhD program in the Faculty of Medicine to assume her new position.
We are delighted that Dr. Trasler has accepted this important and challenging role during this crucial time in the consolidation of the McGill University Health Centre Research Institute, as we plan our future at the new site.
