Cotton Candy Bunny Toys recalled in Canada

A company named Ganz, responsible for manufacturing the Cotton Candy Bunny toy has has issued a recall for item number HM174 and batch number HL320H of their products.  

 

The Cotton Candy Bunny toy is a pink, blue, and white bunny with pink velvet ears, pink nose, white whiskers, and hard plastic eyes. Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has revealed that the hard plastic eyes on the Cotton Candy Bunny toys can become detached; these small parts pose a choking hazard to young children.

Approximately 350 units of the recalled plush toys were sold at a variety of retailers across Canada from February 2009 to June 2010.
