Donations of toys and gifts for the 2012 holiday season

The Montreal Children’s Hospital is currently accepting toys and gifts to distribute to patients during the holiday season. Should you wish to donate gifts this year, please consult our wish list for ideas and suggestions of items we’d like to collect for children of all ages. This year especially, we are in need of toys for our very young baby population as well as gifts for our teenagers. All items must be new and un-wrapped in order to facilitate distribution of gifts and for infection control reasons.

In order to prepare for Santa’s visit on December 25th, we are encouraging donors to deliver their goodies to the hospital before December 20th. All donations that meet the may be directed to the reception desk at the main entrance of the hospital (Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.). On evenings, weekends and holidays, please drop off donations at the security desk. Please also leave your name and address affixed to the donation so we may officially thank you.

We are also accepting financial contributions through our Foundation this year to compliment the toy donations we receive.
Your financial contribution, no matter how great or small, will allow our Child Life specialists more flexibility in the toys they purchase and ensure that every patient in every age group receive something special on Christmas day. Donating money is simple and safe, and can be done through our Foundation’s website.

Thank you for helping us create the magic of Christmas at the hospital for our patients and families. For more information, you can contact the Child Life Service at 514-412-4400 ext. 22570.
