Health Canada announces recall of "Mexx" Children Two-piece Snowsuit Sets

Health Canada announced the recall of 2 models of “Mexx" brand two-piece snowsuit sets on Friday.
 
The snowsuit sets affected by the recall are model numbers TI208F (001) and TI208F (041) and come in either black or grey. The zipper tab/pull can become detached from the zipper, posing a choking hazard to children.
 
Mexx has received four reports of a zipper tab/pull detaching. One report indicated that a tab/pull was found in a child's mouth. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
 
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these products.
 
Approximately 1,570 units of the recalled snowsuit sets were sold at Mexx retail stores across Canada. The recalled snowsuit sets were sold from August 2010 to January 2011.
 
Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the recalled snowsuits and return it with proof of purchase to any Mexx Canada Inc. store for a full refund.
