Health Canada recalls 24,000 drop-side cribs

Almost 24,000 cribs sold in Canada are being recalled because of concerns babies may suffocate, suffer a strangulation, become trapped or fall from them.

Five companies are included in the official recall, announced Thursday. All of the cribs have drop-sides that become detached because of hardware defects, Health Canada said in multiple advisories.
