“BIG CHILLS FOR LITTLE KIDS”
Montreal
Of course there will be ghosts, goblins and ghouls, but there will also be plenty of other delights including a moving skeleton in a real coffin. Watch out where you walk! You don’t want to step in the toxic waste spill.
“I just le Halloween and making special effects. I start preparing for the big day in June,” says Tom Jonas. At heart, I guess, I am still a big kid. This year, our sponsors have quadrupled. Métro Perrier & Martel in Laval are kind enough to supply candy and chips for the 450 expected kids. I am also pleased welcome onboard Crayola Canada who have generously supplied me with colouring and activity pads for all of the trick or treaters as well as Réno-Dépôt St. Dorothee who are helping me with materials. Other wonderful sponsors include m:brger, Arani, SignoTech, PartyWorld, ICC, Atomik, Jos.le Bel, Bucky’s Boneyard, Walmart St. Dorothee, Securitas Canada . and Montréal en Santé Magazine.”
Once again this year, Tom will accept freewill donations on site (Just drop some coins or dollar bills into the donation cans being held by various skeleton hosts!!) or online to benefit The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation of the MUHC. This year the goal is to raise a minimum of $6000.00 to purchase 10 wheelchairs for the MCH Emergency Department. To get a taste of the terrifying things to be seen, check out the photos from last year’s Halloween extravaganza at: http://www.bigchills.ca/
