Major changes in Road Safety in Quebec

In 2008, the Société de l’Assurance automobile de Québec (SAAQ) has implemented major changes on road safety for Quebec drivers. The SAAQ has banned the use of hand-held cell phone while driving, as well as introduced measures to deter excessive speeding, impaired driving and to improve safety when driving a moped or motorized scooter.
