Montreal Children’s Hospital performs surgery on kids born with tongues that are too long, too wide or both

Montreal, May 2, 2007: The Montreal Children’s Hospital of the MUHC is the only pediatric centre in Quebec with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to performing surgery on children born with tongues that are too long, too thick or both, a condition known as macroglossia.

During an up-coming press conference, you’ll learn more about this delicate and rather painful surgery. You’ll also get a chance to speak with children who have had the surgery and learn how it changed their lives.
