September 27 to October 4, 2013 is Users’ Rights Week at the Montreal Children’s Hospital

Users’ rights week is a promotional event to raise awareness on the rights of patients and families of the health and social services network. It is a focal point for all those who are concerned with improving the quality of services in Quebec and working together. Take part in the following activities throughout the week:

From Monday to Thursday: Kiosk in the hospital’s Oncology Day Center from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A face painter will also be on site.

From Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.: come visit our kiosk on 2B (outpatient waiting area). A face painter will also be on site from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Interested in learning more about your rights as a user of the health care system? Join the hospital’s Ombudsman, Patricia Boyer and Imma Gidaro, Patient and Family Centered Care Coordinator for a special presentation about The Importance of Knowing your Rights at the WHAIH (West Island Association for the Intellectually Handicapped) on Friday October 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
