Thalassemia patients: a briefing on the move to the Glen

Thalassemia patients have been followed at the Montreal Children's Hospital (MCH) for many years, regardless of their age.  The move to the Glen has given us the opportunity to transfer the adult service to the adult  Medical Day Hospital at the new site, which is a more appropriate environment.

A meeting was held for the thalassemia patients at the MCH in the evening on Thursday February 5th.  Nursing and medical staff from the MCH and the Royal Victoria Hospital were on hand to describe the new setting and answer questions.

As it was not possible for all the adult thalassemia patients to be present on that evening, we would like to make the presentation available to those who missed it.
