Waiting for Eva

Like all new parents, Inga Murawski and William Nohorniak were overjoyed when they discovered they were expecting. Their joy, however, quickly turned to concern when doctors noticed a problem during a routine 12-week ultrasound: their unborn daughter, Eva, was diagnosed with long-gap esophageal atresia, a condition that would mean their daughter would be born without an esophagus. This is Eva’s story.
