Earl Pinchuk and Gary Blair created the Art for Healing Foundation [1] several years ago and thanks to their on-going efforts, original art and reproductions grace many corridors of the MCH.

On October 6, Art for Healing and the MCH Foundation [2] opened the ‘Veronica Tennant / Rita Briansky On Stage, Please’ Gallery, a permanent installation on the ground floor, D-Wing of the hospital. Veronica Tennant was Prima Ballerina with the National Ballet of Canada for 25 years, and Rita Briansky is an accomplished artist with a long and illustrious career. They first worked together when Rita illustrated Tennant’s children’s book “On Stage, Please” in the late 1970s. Etchings from this work are featured in the new gallery.
