The continued generosity of Montrealers helped make the holidays a special time for our young patients
Montreal – January 10th, 2012 -- Every year at The Montreal Children’s Hospital of the McGill University Health Centre, we look to members of the community to help make the holidays special for those patients who are not well enough to go home to celebrate.
In an effort to make sure every child feels special on Christmas Day, our staff distribute carefully wrapped gifts of dolls, stuffed animals, games and trucks to hospitalized patients, who also get a chance to visit with Santa.
Without your continued support, we would be unable to give each and every patient a reason to smile this Christmas. We wish to thank each and every family, individual and corporation who donated their time and helped make the season a little bit brighter for our patients this year by donating bundles of toys for our young patients and spreading the word about our cause. The response we received from various retail chains, toy manufacturers, corporate groups and individuals was beyond our expectations.
From all of the staff here at The Montreal Children’s Hospital, and on behalf of our patients and their families, we wish you a very happy New Year, filled with health and happiness.
