Montréal, June 14, 2006 – The 7th annual ABC Awards Ball for The Children’s of The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation was held on May 25. Under the theme “A Toast to Life,” the evening, hosted by Ms. Marianna Simeone, was attended by over 500 dinner guests at the Centre Mont-Royal on Mansfield Street in Montréal.
The 2006 edition of this prestigious event raised more than $600,000 which will be allocated to the purchase of specialized equipment, the realization of special projects, and to the Hospital’s Hematology / Oncology Department. As Chairman of the Board of The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, Ms. Jill K. Hugessen, a resident of Westmount, took the opportunity to thank all the generous donors.
