The Acute Pain Service (APS) follows hospitalized children for acute pain episodes related to an injury, an operation and/or pain from an illness.
The Montreal Children’s Hospital Division of Adolescent Medicine/Gynecology is made up of a group of specialists who care for complex health issues in adolescents. The department also treats children and teens with eating disorders and other chronic diseases. Please see a separate listing for Obstetrics-Gynecology.
The Montreal Children’s Hospital’s Asthma Centre is dedicated to treating pediatric asthma in children aged 1 to 18 years old. We also treat many patients with recurrent viral wheezing, which is typical in toddlers and preschoolers.
The multidisciplinary Autism Spectrum Disorders Program offers diagnostic services for children from 7 to 18 years old with suspected autism spectrum disorders.
The Montreal Children’s Hospital Cardiology Division is staffed by a team of pediatric cardiologists offering a wide range of expertise spanning all areas of cardiology.
