The greening of the MCH: Telus employees get dirty

Montreal (Quebec) - Over 1000 trees, bushes and flours will be planted around The Montreal Children's Hospital thanks to the spectacular efforts of the employees of Telus. On Saturday May 31, Telus employees in collaboration with Soverdi will role up their sleeves and get down and dirty. They are donating their time and energy to beautify the hospital while at the same time creating a fresh and shady environment that will help reduce the ambient temperature around the hospital.

This project is being undertaken as part of the Telus Volunteer day, when members of the Telus team give back to their community. On this special day, over 6500 members of the Telus team including present and retired employees, parents and friend will take part in over 100 different activities across Canada. The participants participate in projects that they felt particularly strongly about and that are geared towards improving the environment and helping children and the less fortunate.
