Health Canada Recalls BUSA Children's Folding Tent from IKEA

Full Product Description

This recall involves BUSA children's folding tent with model number 90192009. BUSA, IKEA and the model number are printed on a sewn-in label attached to the interior of the tent. The tent frame is made of flat steel wire and the tent material of pale green polyester fabric.

Hazard Identified

The steel wire frame of the tent can break in use. This can cause sharp wire ends to protrude through the tent fabric, creating a risk of a laceration or puncture wound injury to a child playing with the tent.

IKEA has received three reports of wire frame breaking incidents in Europe and Asia regarding these children's tents, one has resulted in a minor injury.

Health Canada and the US CPSC have not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these children's tents.
