The Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation cordially invite you to the inauguration of The Veronica Tennant / Rita Briansky "On Stage, Please" Gallery
When: Monday, October 6, 2008 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm
Where: The Montreal Children's Hospital
2300 Tupper Street, Montreal
Ground Floor – D-Wing
Both artists will be in attendance and will be available for interviews.
The Veronica Tennant / Rita Briansky "On Stage, Please" Gallery is based on the 1977 book "On Stage, Please", written by acclaimed Canadian ballerina, Veronica Tennant, and illustrated by renowned Montreal artist, Rita Briansky. It is made possible thanks to Briansky's donation of fourteen etchings from the book.
The gallery will be a permanent installation at The Montreal Children's Hospital and is part of the initiative of The Art for Healing Foundation to bring healing through art.
