Quebecers who want to donate their organs after they die may now add their names to a new registry. Quebecers may sign a consent form when they obtain or renew their medicare card.
The form can also be obtained through the RAMQ. Donors will have a sticker added to their medicare card. A donor can save up to eight lives and improve the quality of life of 15 others, Health Minister Yves Bolduc said. Information is available in French only at www.signezdon. gouv.qc.ca
