Teen with leukemia helps promote annual MCH blood drive

May 6 at the Pepsi Forum: Roll up your sleeves and give blood

By Lisa Dutton

Patients like 14-year old Marc Normandeau need your help. The young man is battling leukemia for the second time and last year alone he had 33 blood transfusions. That’s why Marc is asking all of us to roll up our sleeves on Wednesday, May 6, to give blood during The Montreal Children’s Hospital’s annual blood drive at the Pepsi Forum. The goal this year is to have 100 donors, and Marc has agreed to lend a hand to help us reach our goal. You’ll see his picture on all Héma-Quebec posters and hear his voice on radio ads airing on Q92.

The MCH Blood Drive takes place on Wednesday, May 6, from 10:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Pepsi Forum right across from The Montreal Children’s Hospital.

Please – for Marc – give blood, give life.
