Pediatrics Advanced Life Support Course (PALS)
Designed to aid the pediatric healthcare provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently evaluate and effectively manage seriously ill infants and children.

Note: a valid BLS certification is necessary in order to register for the PALS course
In this course, you will learn:

How to assess for evidence of respiratory and circulatory compromise.

Establish treatment priorities and intervene when necessary to stabilize the child.

Students will also review treatment of the respiratory and circulatory systems, management of cardiac arrest and arrhythmias and immediate post-resuscitation care.
