By Lyne St-Martin, Infection Control Practitioner
On October 2, Infection Prevention and Control united its efforts with a duo of Doctor Clowns to promote hand hygiene among health care workers and hospital personnel. The activity generated much interest – and plenty of laughs too!
The participants were invited to practice their hand hygiene technique and to test their knowledge by filling out a short questionnaire. Participants had the chance to enter a draw which included the grand prize of an iPod nano. A similar hand hygiene activity took place on October 23.
